Systemwide Facilities
Challenge: Reconstruction of Plazas 28 and 34 of the Illinois Tollway system while maintaining at least one lane of active traffic open at all times at existing toll plazas for revenue continuity.
Solution: Provide contract documents that meet client expectations regarding the scope, schedule, and budget.
Result: Project is currently in design.

Phase I and II engineering services were required for preparing engineering studies, contract drawings, and specifications related to select vertical facilities throughout the Tollway system. Several Tollway ramp plaza facilities required repair, potential relocation, and replacement. Phase I engineering services were required to perform a functionality assessment at each facility and provide a recommended action plan at each location. Phase II engineering services were required at select locations where Tollway stakeholders deemed the Phase I recommendations acceptable.
