Taxiway V Bypass Design and Construction- Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport
The Taxiway V Bypass design project will enable access to ramp 1N and reduce operational impacts on taxiway V during construction on the Concourse T North Extension. The proposed bypass will provide a new alignment for taxiing aircraft and prevent closures of taxiway V.
The project scope includes these major components:
- Geometric design based upon Taxiway Victor Bypass Project Definition Report and pavement areas in the vicinity of this project as identified by the Taxiway Pavement Replacement 2019 project
- Drainage modifications modification to the existing storm water systems in the adjacent infield area of taxiways F and E
- Airfield electrical improvement extend casing of an existing 16-inch fuel line located beneath proposed bypass taxiway
- Pavement sections pavement sections to be designed/constructed utilizing the DOA standard pavement section
- Construction phasing
